Hunting: Marche, Coldiretti asks for an advance boar hunt to limit the damage to agriculture caused by ungulates.
Anticipating wild boar hunting to put a stop to damage in the countryside and abandon any hypothesis of postponing the opening of the hunting season for wild animals. This is what Coldiretti Marche is asking the Region in view of the Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow, September 30th. A problem that costs farmers and citizens of the Marches 4,5 million euros a year, without politics being able to find a solution. On the contrary, the countryside has now become real open-air farms for wild boars, feeding a thriving market on the shoulders of agricultural businesses. This is why the idea of postponing the start of the selection activity advanced by the regional councilor Paola Giorgi would be a very serious fact as it would satisfy the demands of the beltlai lobby, testifying, once again, the total lack of interest in productive activities.
In this way, the already high tension in the countryside will increase, with farmers now exasperated by the continuous attacks, while the compensation covers only a small part of the damage.
