Hunting: in Recoaro Terme in the province of Vicenza, hunters take to the streets and demonstrate in defense of traditional hunting.
An important street demonstration took place on Saturday 28/09 from 18 pm in Recoaro Terme (VI) in defense of traditional, popular and social hunting; the event was organized by the hunting associations Arci Caccia, Federcaccia and Anuu to reiterate that hunting, especially in mountain areas, is the fulcrum of the care of the territory, an emblem of local traditions that cannot be questioned: under penalty of the definitive death of the Mountain !
The hunting world had to take to the streets to defend the pride of being mountaineers, perhaps historically rebellious, but still sentinels of a territory that risks degradation. The participation was great, important: you see true love for the environment there, not in written or spoken forms. In recent months, hunting from fixed stalking, one of the most widespread hunting practices in the Recoarese territory, has been strongly questioned: it is inadmissible. Unclear laws, late interventions, heavily affected the hunting season. A law has been approved by the Veneto Region, the measures needed for this season are delayed: no time must be wasted!
On Friday 27/09 the entire Municipal Council of Recoaro Terme unanimously voted a motion, to raise the alarm, but to say that the whole community is close to the hunters and sees that the values of poor hunting are under attack. 'to be a mountaineer in the noble sense of the term: not as some extremist environmentalists would like to label us, that is, sons of hunting by the rich.
You know, the hunting world came to Recoaro, that hunting is not a priority, that other emergencies in a moment of crisis are, but it is keen to reiterate that even if we are in a difficult situation, it cannot be, with this sorry, questioned the rule of law. The event ended with a strong and decisive cry: if there are no answers, claims for damages will arrive!
