Sunday 8 September a Capannoli (PI), within one of the most prestigious Bird Fairs that take place in Tuscany, the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters organized an important initiative focused on the topics related to the Hunting Calendars and on the latest news from Brussels regarding the updating of Key concepts. A particularly interesting event for migratory travelers and for all hunters who will be able to appreciate the particularities of the 59th edition of the Capannoli Bird Fair, combined with an in-depth study of issues of fundamental importance for those who hunt migratory birds.
"Venatori calendars: it takes science and not ideology" is the title of the conference that summarizes the line pursued in recent years by the CCT. A line that is not abstractly demanding, but rather focused on science and data as irreplaceable tools for unhinging continuous attacks from the animal - environmentalist world and to counter the continuous legal disputes on the Hunting Calendars of the Italian Regions. The interventions of the speakers dr. Michele Sorrenti and Dr. Antonella Labate, will enter into the merits of the still open debate on the revision of the Key Concepts.
A battle that sees us engaged through the precious work done by the whole Federcaccia Bird Migration Office National. The work, coordinated by Marco Salvadori President of Federcaccia Toscana, will be concluded by Matteo De Chiara of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters. An invitation to all to participate in a day in large numbers rich in tradition but also concretely projected on the work that awaits us in the coming months.
