Hunting license denied
A more than encouraging precedent for hunters from all over Italy. The Regional Administrative Court of Calabria agreed with a man who was denied the release of the hunting license, considering the decisions of the Police Headquarters illegitimate. What specifically happened? The same police headquarters justified the no with a single criminal episode, but this is not the point.
The ruling of the TAR
The crime, in fact, dates back to 2016 and was committed by the hunter's son. This is why the choice of denial immediately seemed exaggerated, so much so as to push the man to appeal to the Regional Administrative Court. The administrative judges considered this same appeal admissible and well-founded, given that precise and above all adequate reasons are needed for the renewal of the license.
An innovative ruling
The decision of the Police Headquarters was canceled, as happens in these cases and the man was able to regain his hunting license. The hunter's lawyer also released a statement after the ruling by the Calabrian administrative court: "An innovative decision that sets new criteria on the rights of hunters".
