And in this 2016 season we had a very fast migration until the end of March, faster than other spring seasons, and of considerable consistency, due to the delayed start, but always in the norm of that ornithological calendar written over time and that not even mathematical calculations they can change.
Our elders, rightly, used to say very wisely that "natura non fecit saltum". In good words, the earth always produces its fruits in normal seasons throughout the year and the migrations of birds remain so, year after year. And with April we await the "trans-Saharans" until early May.
Then also at the FEIN Ornithological Observatory the reproductive phase among the green branches of the chestnuts is the master and the study is all aimed at detecting nesting in the eternal game of "give and take" of nature.
