Where the races took place
Tav Fano hosted the Italian Championship and the Club Champions Cup Universal Trench, a competition that attracted 44 teams to the Marche region. As regards the Italian Championship, the Teams have been divided into two classifications, one reserved for those of the First and Second Affiliation Category and of the Armed Forces and State Corps and one reserved for those of the Third and Fourth Affiliation Category.
The main titles
As for the first, Tav Pisa deserved the Tricolore scudetto for 2023 with the team made up of Stefano Narducci, Nicholas Antonini and Riccardo Martinozzi who scored 266 points out of the 300 available to them. On the second step of the podium was the Tav Fagnano Olona team with Claudio Armiraglio, Graziano Cazzaniga and Giovanni Inversini with a total of 258/300. The Tav Conselice team made up of Gianni Casadio, Michele Brigidi and Paolo Cavallari concluded their competition in third place with a total of 256/300.
Other rankings
Moving on to the ranking reserved for the teams of third and fourth category clubs, the Tav Pezzaioli team made up of Claudio Franzoni, Robertino Tacchetto and Andrea Guarnieri deserved the championship for this season thanks to a total of 266/300. In second position with 265/300 the Tav Scaligero team made up of Michele Rodeghero, Davide Cerchieri and Gianluigi Ambroso. Third on the podium was the Tav La County team made up of Fernando Albanese, Adriano Avveduto and Francesco Pollicino with 263/300. Tav Pisa and Tav Pezzaioli, winning the Italian Title in their respective qualifications, continued the duel to win the Champions Cup in a further series of matches. At the end of the throws the two teams found themselves tied on a total of 68/75, but due to the mechanism of the last zero the Trophy was awarded to Tav Pezzaioli (source: FITAV).
