Yesterday, Tuesday 11 July 2017, the Piedmont Regional Administrative Court met to examine various appeals presented by the hunting world. What is it specifically about? In the case of last year's hunting calendar (2016-2017 season) the application concerns the ptarmigan and other wild animals (including ducks and migratory animals prohibited from hunting). The appeal has to do with the question of constitutionality, as the regions are prevented from intervene with laws on huntable species.
On this calendar we will go directly to the sentence. On the 2017-2018 calendar Other relevant issues were raised, in particular the modification and improvement of the document voted in April by the Regional Council. The suspension has been requested and in this case the hunting associations seem to be confident.
Another instance refers instead to the rationalization of the management committees of Territorial Areas of Hunting and Alpine Areas. The appeals are numerous and aim at the cancellation of the unification of the same committees (21 ATC and 17 Comprensori to be precise). The discussion date will be next 18 October, with a probable sentence on this very day.
