Silvio Debolini, president ofURCA (Regional Union of Apennine Hunters) of Siena, he said he was very worried about what is happening in the Tuscany Region. In particular, the junta has decided to give access to thequalifying examination for selection hunting even to hunters who have not followed training courses specific and mandatory. According to the association, this goes against the provisions of theISPRA to manage ungulates.
Debolini believes that the Region is reducing and destroying the fauna still present in the area, given that regulations, biological hunting times and training courses they are increasingly seen as obstacles. URCA Siena recalled how screening hunting needs strict rules, first and foremost for the training of the selecontrollers, the qualification, the censuses, the control of the slaughtered animals and the control of the territory.
Debolini spoke of a "scientific destruction of everything that has been painstakingly built with passion". The lack of compulsory training, the exams reduced to a simple formality and the abandonment of the practice of controls are not liked, now URCA Siena is even expecting the turn with the help of dogs to deer, roe deer and fallow deer. The official note ends with a particular appeal: "ISPRA save us!".
