With a decree of last July 20 the Venet regionor imposed a temporary ban on hunting in some place of considerable historical interest up to 30 September 2016. This is a choice made possible by a regional law and whose main objective is to protect the integrity and tranquility of the areas. Going more specifically, the council took a cue from Regional Law number 50 of 1993 (“Regulations for the protection of wildlife and for hunting”).
The list of locations where it will not be possible to hunt are different. These are the islands of Lido and Pellestrina (up to the Caroman lighthouse), from the mouth of the Tagliamento to Porto Baseleghe, from the port of Falconera to Porto Caleri, from Porto Caleri to the Guardia di Finanza of Caleri, the coasts delimited to the north by the mouth of the Po di Levante, to the south-west by "La Vallona" and to the south by the mouth of the Po di Maistra, Boccasette beach.
There are also specific limitations to be respected. Eg, hunting will be prohibited for a depth of one thousand meters from the wave to the ground, with the same distance to the sea. However, it should be noted that the provision does not apply within the private hunting institutes foreclosed access for the purposes of tourist use.
