A hunter was acquitted from Court of Biella after the evaluation of an incident that has occurred in 2015. About three and a half years ago this person became the protagonist ofkilling of a wild boar: the protagonist of the story is a pensioner who lives in Sagliano Micca (precisely in the Biellese area) and its hunting activity took place during a closed hunting period. Initially the investigating judge had decided to condemn the man for this reason.
The new ruling changed everything, as the hunter had decided to challenge the decree. The acquittal came on the grounds that the Piedmontese pensioner did not commit the deed. Indeed, the defense was based on the fact that wild boars are constantly harmful to farmers' activities.
In addition, the regional legislation provides for the opening of the hunt even when it would theoretically be closed in the event of need to check the numbers of the species. The killing took place in June, while the jokes usually last until the end of January. The thesis was accepted by the judges of the court who then overturned the decision.
