A few days ago a 64-year-old reported to the police the theft of your car, left parked for a hunting trip in the area of Savignano sul Rubicone, a town located halfway between Cesena and Rimini. The car had been left unattended, with the doors open and the keys still inserted, so the thief had no difficulty in taking it away. The man's rifle was also present inside the vehicle and for this reason the agents denounced him on the loose on charges of omitted gun custody.
The theft took place at the first light of dawn and the criminals certainly took advantage of the darkness. The rifle had been stowed behind the rear seat backrest. Fortunately the car was found a few hours later thanks to the GPS it was equipped with: the thieves had left it closed and no signs of forced entry were found. Also the weapon was regularly in place. The investigations by the police then led to the completion of the complaint.
