Le controversy triggered by the ENPA (National Animal Protection Authority) regarding the closure of the hunting activity following the latest earthquakes have pushed Emmanuel Bennati, number one of Arci Caccia Umbria, to answer. The regional president of the association expressed the sentiments of the leaders of the other areas affected by the earthquake. According to him, these "biased and ideological" exploitation they must have a limit, given that animal rights activists feel omnipotent and would claim to stop the earthquake.
The hunting world is at the forefront of helping these populations, among other things, one of the first vets who arrived in the so-called "red zone" was a hunter. Bennati stressed that the actions were not heralded to the four winds, given that every intervention must be listed in mourning as a testimony of seriousness and solidarity.
Arci Caccia Umbria will continue to guard the woods, respecting the safety of rescuers and the laws, without causing any obstacle to citizens. Agricultural productions, in fact, need to be protected: in this way, farmers will be able to produce quality meat and restart local economies. The note ends with a very direct sentence: "Let us go back in silence to humbly bear witness to our condolences. We don't care about provocateurs".
