Hunting: Enalcaccia Liguria responds to Marco Ciarafoni of PD.
24.06.2011 - This morning an article appeared in the Genoese newspaper "Il Secolo XIX", entitled: "Hunting," torpedo "of the national PD" The Region has everything wrong ", in which the latest Hunting Calendar is strongly criticized Ligurian approved by the Regional Council, on the proposal of the Councilor Renata Briano.
The attack was carried out by Marco Ciarafoni, Roberto Della Seta and Susanna Cenni who accuse the Councilor of not having complied with the ISPRA directives, and some extremist hunting associations.
This is false!
The Assessor and his offices respected hunting times and species, as required by Law 157/92 and in harmony with the KC. They have absolutely not extended the hunting activity to February 10, for some species and have reduced the number of woodcocks that can be killed.
It is good to remember, to Ciarafoni and his companions, that ISPRA gives indications - between 1st September and 31st January of the previous year - which are not binding.
The binding information is only valid for the month of February. We thank Councilor Briano who, thanks also to his ten-year experience in the sector, has issued a Calendar that does not mortify the Ligurian hunting activity while respecting the fauna present in Liguria.
Dear Marco, I remembered you with pleasure as a hunter when, together with our mutual friend Paolo Moro, we talked about hunting ……
Recently, a Ligurian Regional Councilor, Matteo Rossi (Sel), speaking of the Calendar, defined it as «very balanced, which allows planning with a responsible approach - he stressed - and is a synthesis between the hunting and environmental world. The left - he concluded - must recover dialogue with the hunting world, adopting a secular approach ».
Think Marco, on these words .......
