I hunters continue to confirm themselves as true sentinels of the environment, as well evidenced by what has been achieved by the municipal section of High Ponteranica (province of Bergamo) of the Italian Federation of Hunting. In fact, in the month of February and in the month that has just begun in March, the shotguns have shown that they fully live their territory, defending traditions and doing good to the community. completely free of charge.
Local hunters have dedicated their time to cleaning the Morla stream: it is a stream that originates in the Baderen Valley and which receives the waters from two tributary streams, namely the Tremana and the Gardellone. It has always been considered the "river" of Bergamo, also because 8 of the total 14 kilometers are located in the Lombard municipality. In addition to the hunting world, cleaning was guaranteed by the Alpine troops and by the Civil Protection, a truly fruitful collaboration.
The commitment, however, will not end here. Indeed, also in this month of March the hunters will be active in cleaning the paths, proving once more dedication and love for the environment. Ponteranica is a splendid medieval village that boasts an interesting and rich history, its inhabitants can only be proud of it.
