The approval of new regional hunting ground plan it is one of the main priorities for the coming months. For some time the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters in all the institutional offices, in the numerous local initiatives and in the meetings held with all the council groups, he spurred the The Tuscan Regional Authority and Councilor Remaschi took charge of this fundamental planning tool. Only with the new PFVR will it be possible to completely redefine the role and perimeter of public and private wildlife institutes, and apply the choices to them for their eventual transformation or for any new institutions.
The wildlife plan is therefore the tool that allows us to give a current reading of the wildlife hunting management of the Region, in relation to the profound changes that the territory has undergone in recent years. There small game crisis sedentary, the presence of ungulates within the institutions with the relative repercussions on the agricultural sector, the total lack of coordination between the management of the territory and scheduled hunting and that relating to protected areas etc. they represent some of the main aspects on which a new effective management strategy will be based, capable of outlining a commitment perspective for the next few years.
We are pleased to register that after months of loss, some of the other hunting associations are now sharing these needs as well. It should be noted favorably that this determination seems to have found a positive attention also in politics and in the regional council. In this regard, we want to underline the importance of the recent motion presented in the regional council by the council group of the Northern League and amended by some advisers of the Democratic Party including Simone Bezzini. The motion approved by a majority in the classroom starts from the premise that the PFVR expired since 2015, is generating regulatory uncertainties that must therefore be overcome in order to guarantee maximum legal certainty for all Tuscan hunters.
During the last consultation table as previously announced by President Rossi, the regional council expressed its willingness to immediately activate the work for the preparation of a first draft plan on which focus the comparison and discussion with the various stakeholders. Another note on which we would like to draw attention concerns the modification made by resolution number 333 of 11 March 2019, concerning the sampling plan and the hunting calendar in the areas not suitable for wild boar selection hunting, where it is essentially clarified that the practice of attractive foraging for the same is not allowed.
