The Piedmont Regional Administrative Court issues an ultimatum to the Region: either they legislate or they go to the Referendum; therefore there are now a few days left to avoid the referendum against hunting.
The President of the Arci Caccia of Piedmont, Mauro Vaccamorta, having read the sentence of the TAR on the regional referendum, declared: “The Regional Council, show that you have the good of the Piedmontese at heart. The TAR still leaves 15 days to legislate or call the Referendum otherwise the Prefect of Turin will intervene as Commissioner.
Never seen so much ignorance and inability in a Regional Council. First they did not "constitute" themselves in defense of the Regional Law on hunting in the last degree of judgment, then they could legislate, and they did not, intervening on a few and targeted articles to solve the problem without suffering trauma to hunting as well as and today. In Piedmont the risk is that hunting becomes impossible on Sunday to the detriment, in particular, of the workers.
Piedmontese citizens know that it will not be the responsibility of the hunters if they have to suffer the tax of 25 million euros to be "wasted" in a useless referendum that is not passionate and for which Arci Caccia will do everything to inform of the uselessness of going to vote. The politicians of the center-right majority and the "referendums" will be happy to hold the Referendum, thus getting the reimbursements even if the consultation does not reach the quorum.
Those of the "League" who rambled their love for hunters have lost their masks. We remember the "rip-off" of the Community approved by Parliament with the modification of criteria, times and huntable species (including some hunting associations).
Today we pay for everything after the "brawl" and the "clashes" that the false promises of the center-right have sparked between extremist opposites for and against hunting. After the Appeals, we now have the Judgments against hunting, the last but not least is that of the Constitutional Court on the Abruzzo law that prevents multi-year hunting calendars.
Perhaps, when they proposed to abolish the Piedmont hunting law, it was the only time they told the truth: they wanted to close the hunt. God look at us and let's watch our backs from self-styled friends like the Northern League.
