Twenty years have passed since reintroduction of the deer in Pasubio Trentino, the limestone massif located on the border between the provinces of Vicenza and Trento. For the occasion, the Terragnolo Hunters Section, that of Vallarsa and theAssociation of Trentino Hunters they decided to organize a conference of sure charm and interest. The title of the event, scheduled for next September 2nd at 9 am, is "Twenty years (1997-2017) since the reintroduction of the deer in Pasubio Trentino".
Furthermore, the chosen venue will be that of the municipal auditorium of Trambileno, right in the province of Trento. After the opening of the works and the presentation of the conference by Carlo Pezzato, president of ACT, there will be the first speech, dedicated to deer management in Italy, its prospects and main problems, edited by Silvano Toso, former director of the National Institute for Wild Fauna. It will then be the turn of Umberto Zamboni, former director of ACT, who will talk about the reintroduction project in three-year period 1995-1997, therefore in its very first phase.
Lucio Luchesa (ACT) will take care of the management of the animal in the Adige Left District in the period 2007-2016, while Gianluigi Mazzucci (Province of Vicenza) will deepen the reintroduction projects in the Vicenza area. The last two reports will be those of Ivano Confortini, who studied the deer and its conservation in province of Verona, and Enrico Boscaini (former ERSAF executive), who examined the case ofUpper Garda Bresciano. The moderator will be Alessandro Brugnoli of the Trentino Hunters Association.
