Paul Sparvoli, number one ofNational Free Hunting Association, issued a statement in which he addressed other hunting associations. Here is the text of the letter: “We learn that AnuuMigratoristi, Arci Caccia, Federcaccia and Enalcaccia they wrote a "vibrata" letter to the region asking for a "confrontation aimed at solving various problems concerning hunting and land management ...".
Nothing to object to the laudable initiative of the friends of the Fenaveri - however, last week we at Libera Caccia have already done the same - but it seems to us that the letter should have been sent (albeit with very different tones) to Legambiente, their precious ally, the first signatory of the appeal that has thrown the Sicilian hunters into utter despair. We don't want to play the part of pundits and top of the class (but maybe we are!), But we believe that the sad Sicilian experience prove once again that the “Holy Alliance” with Legambiente was and remains a real suicide for Italian hunters!
An agreement that our sisters find increasingly difficult to explain and to make their members understand that, rightly, they feel disappointed and betrayed by whom, instead of defending them from the incessant and ruthless broadsides of Legambiente, has chosen to enter into a pact of steel with the enemy. Now, that precious ally has shown that they regard the deal as a piece of waste paper, and that the oxen have escaped from the stable, our sisters try to run late and uselessly for cover.
