Providing a detailed technical document the hunting associations gathered in the control room and the CNCN responded to the request of the Ministry of the Environment for the revision of the document establishing the periods of reproduction and pre-nuptial migration of the species. On 13 July, the associations received a note from the ministry with which they were requested, as part of the procedure for revising the document Key concepts, to produce and provide technical-scientific documentation by the 31st of the same month for the species for which a change of the fixed dates of the current document was requested.
The control room provided for a detailed and scientifically founded document to be sent by the indicated date in support of their request for modification of the national "key concepts" currently envisaged for the species Teal, Woodcock, Song Thrush, Cesena and Redwing.
For the first four of these species, scientific works are available promoted and supported by the Italian Federation of Hunting, and affiliated or sectorial associations, carried out in collaboration with Universities or researchers-ringers authorized by ISPRA, while for the Redwing is required a re-evaluation of the document in the light of international data. The hope is that of a positive revision of a national document that places Italian hunters in an evident state of disparity compared to practitioners from other states of the European Union, in particular those of a latitude similar to Italy.
